Here is the arrival with the AFS camp in Japan. She was so happy when she got there. How exiting and amazing it was.... She is on the first row. The sixth from the left or the third from the right. She is wearing a red t-shirt and a gray sweather on top.

ENGLISH - The reason for my blog

Hi, my name is Caitlind. I am high school student who lives in Ottawa, but I'm going to school in Trois-Rivieres right now, so I can be close to my grandma.

I am one of the lucky candidates that was accepted to AFS Interculture Canada's student exchange program. I was accepted to study in my favorite country (after Canada) JAPAN, for a whole year.

One of the requirements of the program is that I have to raise $5,000 to help cover part of the costs to run the program. This is where I need your help... Rather than just ask for donations, I've come up with some creative ways to fundraise

FRANCAIS - La raison de mon Blog

Bonjour je m'appelle Caitlind Beaulieu, j'ai 15 ans et j'habite à Ottawa et vais à l'école à Trois-Rivieres (Qc) cette année près de chez ma grand-mère.

J'ai été une heureuse élu du programme d'AFS d'échange d'étudiants pour allez dans mon pays préféré (après le Canada) le JAPON. Je suis super exité.

Un des mandats importants pour le program est que je fasse une levé de fonds de $5,000 pour couvrir une partie des frais. Voici ou j'ai besoin d'aide... Et au lieu de seulement demander des dons, j'ai pensé à des façons créatives pour ramasser des sous.

Calendrier 2009 Calendar

I've made some 2009 Calendars with a different sketch for each month. They are $20.00 each and you get a charitable tax receipt from the AFS Interculture Canada program.

I will also be making greeting cards for valentine's day, birthdays etc., so please come often to see what else I added.

And if you have someone special in mind and would like a particular drawing please ask me, it will be a pleasure to make one for you.

To donate for my fundraising or order an item, please send an email to my mom at secaly@yahoo.com, you will get a charitable tax receipt for any amount of $20.00 or more from AFS Interculture Canada.

J'ai fait des calendriers en français avec un dessin pour chaque mois si vous préféré. Je les vends pour $20.00 et vous recevrez un reçu de charité du programme d'AFS Interculture Canada pour vos dons. Vous pouvez le voir ici. Les photos sont de celui en anglais mais j'en ai fait un en français aussi avec les même images.

Greeting Cards - Cartes de souhaits

These are a couple of birthday cards I made for someone. I can make you any cards you want for Valentine's Day, Birthday, Mother's day etc. You just have to pick one of my drawings to order a card made specially for you for $5.00 donation by writing to secaly@yahoo.com.
